2025 Kina Open

The premier event on the club's calendar, the Kina Open will take place on 26 & 27 April 2025.
Played over 36 holes this event is open to all affiliated golfers. With 3 grades for men & 1 for women
and gross, nett & stableford prizes there are plenty of chances to be among the winners.
A round of golf for two at Cape Kidnappers is again on offer for the best nett score over the 2 days (conditions apply).
The entry fee of just $70 includes two's and the famous Kina on-course BBQ for players.

2024 NBS Kina Open - RESULTS
The 2024 NBS Kina Open was played over the weekend in glorious autumn conditions. The course
was in great order once again thanks to the hard work of green-keeper Tom Rush and the grounds
team crew (all volunteers). Thanks also to the 70 entrants for supporting our major event of the year
- it was truly our pleasure to host you all.

A huge thank you must also go to our generous sponsors, the club appreciates your support
- we simply couldn't run this event without it. The same goes for our huge team of volunteers, some of whom aren't even club members, but give up their time to support us none-the-less.

AND NOW TO THE WINNERS - congratulations to Kameran Clarke (Nelson) Winner of the Tasman Trophy for Senior Mens' with a Best Gross of 146, Tracey Bary (Rarangi) Winner of the Women's
Best Gross with 170. Tasman member Paul Heathcote was the Winner of the Kina Cup, & winner of the Cape Kidnappers main prize, carding a Best Nett of 126 over the 2 days. David Coeland collected
the Patron's Trophy as best Tasman member or past-member with a Gross score 154.
Jo Rainbird (Rarangi) won the ladies Best Nett with 153 over the 36 holes .
